A little about us...

Who are we?

My name is Britni Lundin. My sister Colby founded DOXA and we have partnered in raising miniature Dachsunds. We grew up snuggling and raising puppies, and decided that there was no better job than raising beautiful puppies to bless families! We love Jesus and everything we do is in an effort to bring Him glory. That is where the name DOXA was born…it is the Hebrew word for glory! Colby went to be with Jesus in early 2025, but her legacy continues with every puppy we raise.

DOXA miniature Dachshunds is founded on raising healthy pups with exceptional temperaments. We seek excellence in everything that we do.

How are we different?

Building an exceptional breeding program takes an intentionality in every aspect and we are proud of what we have built. Each of our dogs has been carefully selected for temperament, health, intelligence, and conformation. We have imported several of our dogs from the furthest corners of the globe including Taiwan and South Africa. We have also carefully selected breeding programs of excellence here in the USA.

What can you expect in our miniature Dachshund puppies?

Our mini Dachshund puppies are born and raised inside of our home. They are handled with love and affection from the moment they finish their first meal upon momma. We are raising confident puppies who are not afraid to tackle the world. We do this by introducing them to a variety of situations and sounds that take them a bit out of their comfort zone and we reinforce them with love and praise. We also spend countless hours snuggling and playing with our pups…this helps them to associate positive feelings with people and build the loving and devoted temperament that they will carry all of their lives.

How do we select our miniature Dachshunds?

Each of our miniature Dachshunds was selected by matching strict criteria in the area of health, temperament, and pedigree. The majority of our dogs comes from champion show backgrounds. We take great care to review each dog and their lineage to evaluate if they will be a good fit and if they will produce offspring that betters this amazing breed. Once we select a dog for our program, we run them through the necessary health tests to ensure that they will be passing down excellence in health to each puppy. We are seeking to provide a foundation for a good, long, and healthy life for each puppy.

How do I get on the waiting list?

Because we run a small program, we do not have puppies year round. Our program focuses on excellence in small batches. We begin with a conversation by phone to share a bit about us and get to know you. If that is a good match, we accept a deposit that will hold your position for an upcoming breeding. If you have a particular color or pattern that you are seeking, we can place you on a list with that criteria specifically.

AKC or UKC registration and Breeding your dog: All of our puppies come with AKC or UKC registration papers. We sell puppies with limited registration papers, which means you may not breed the dog. This does not limit your dog from participating in AKC or UKC show events or any other organized event.

Breeders: If you are specifically looking for a Dachshund for a breeding program we are always open to talking with breeders and discussing our requirements for a full registration.

We love to keep in touch with families who adopt puppies from us. Whether you have questions or just want to send update photos, we love to hear from our families across the country.

We would love the opportunity to speak with you!

At DOXA, our hope is to improve this amazing

breed through each of our pairings.

These two lovely ladies are a phenomenal example of that. Meet Charlie and Boogan.

Both girls were born and raised in our homes and we are so pleased to watch them grow and thankful to have them as part of our families.
